The SoundPOD™ is a great solution for AAC users who use touch access but also have limited hand/finger dexterity. Having been designed with these users in mind, we made sure that all of the interactions with the system could be done single handed and with limited dexterity. That means there aren't any clips, attachments, or buttons that require fine motor skills; the entire system is accessible.

Accessible Neck Lanyard

The SoundPOD™ wireless speaker and lanyard utilize a quick release barrel connector that allow for single handed insert and release of the SoundPOD™ and lanyard connection. There aren't any clips or snaps that would require fine motor skills. In addition, the lanyard can easily be placed around neck using a single hand.

Shoulder Strap Mounted using Magnetic Cradle

With the Adaptive Carry Case in use, users can quickly attach their SoundPOD™ to the shoulder strap using the Magnetic Mount Cradle. This ensures a slimmest profile for the carry case while promoting audio output from a more natural location.
