Video 1: The FRS Product Tour
Explore all the vast capabilities of the FRS Comlink! Learn about the many different communication methods the ComLink is capable of such as voice output, emailing, and instant messaging.  Next, we will show you how the ComLink's great features are fully accessible no matter what your access method is. Lastly, we will take a look at the many sample User Files that come standard on each and every FRS ComLink!


Video 2: Creating a User File 
Learn how to create a custom user file for an end-user! Rather than starting from scratch, we will show you how to preview our sample user files, and then once you've located one that you'd like to use as a starting point, we will use the clone tool to make a your own copy that is fully customizable with grid pages and settings tailored to meet your needs.


Video 3: Editing Speech Output Settings
In this video, we will show you how to change the public voice of the ComLink by selecting one of our High Quality Acapela voices. Next, we will cover some common speech output setting adjustments such as changing whether the software automatically reads a typed message after a word is completed or after a sentence is completed. Finally we will cover how to make alternative pronunciation settings as well!


In this video, we will show you how to change the text/label on a cell. You can change the font type, font size, and color! You can make these changes to an individual cell, or if you want your changes to affect multiple cells at once, you can apply these changes to the cell's style and any cell sharing the style will be updated immediately.
 

Want to add, change, or even make edits to the symbols on your grid pages? Watch this video and we will teach you how to select a symbol from our massive symbol sets and then even make custom edits to the symbols as well. Using the picture editor, you can change any symbol's color or even use the pen tool to make your own customization to the symbols. If you have a digital photo, you can load your photo right on a cell! Finally, just want to grab a picture from the web or desktop? Use the screen capture tool and click and drag over any region on the ComLink's screen (this can be a web page, photo viewer, etc.) and the software will add your selected graphic to the cell!

Video 6: Editing Cell Sound Output
Want to change the spoken message or sound on a cell? Watch this video and you will learn how to edit the message that the cell says whenever it is selected. In addition, we will teach you how to use alternative pronunciations for hard-to-pronounce words. Lastly, we will show you how to even add a voice recording to a cell to add an a level of personalization to your ComLink.


Video 7: Using Jump Cells
In this video, we will show you how to link grid pages together using the jump cells. With jump cells, we can jump to any grid page within our user file. In addition, we make a "jump back" cell that returns you to the previously viewed grid page and also the "jump home" which will rute you to the home or main page of your user file.

 

Video 8: Transferring Grid Pages
Perhaps you've built a custom user file with many grid pages and then see a grid page from one of our prebuilt user files (maybe a keyboard, music, or email page) that you'd like to incorporate into your custom file. In this video, we will show you how you can easily drag and drop grid pages between user files from within grid explorer! Next we'll show you how to link your transferred pages together using the jump command.
